Each parent will receive an email and/or text from our online system with an opportunity to pre-pay for a portrait credit. A pre-investment of at least $25 is required to access your dancer’s portraits online. Pre-payment is due one week before the start of picture week.. The credit you purchase will be applied toward portraits after picture day.

Yes. Every dancer will be photographed so that they get to be a part of the experience. However, if you do not pre-pay, only one portrait will be taken and you will not be able to view your portraits after picture day. Pre-paying ensures your dancer receives a multiple poses. For Dance Costume Portrait Days we do 2 poses per costume for each dancer that Advance Pays, for Company Portrait Days we typically do 3-5 poses, depending on the studio if dancers have Advance Paid.

Spring Performance Portrait Day
Spring Costume Portraits FAQ

We ask that all dancers show up dressed in their costume with performance ready hair and makeup. Each dance studio director will email dance families specific directions for their dance portrait day regarding proper hair and makeup for the performance.
We ask that dancers do not bring in bags or extra items to picture day to avoid items getting lost and any potential spills on costumes. Please remove all jewelry before the dancers enter the studio.
Company Portrait Day

This will vary depending on the company.
At WCDC Each company member will receive one portrait from Company Picture Day as a gift from WCDC, chosen by the director. This will be delivered around 6 weeks after portrait day. If you’d like to view and choose from all of your dancer’s portraits, you’ll need to pre-purchase a credit.
